OK, I'm back in the land of the Mormons and i had a great couple of days before school started. Ive been taking good care of myself and getting back into a routine and reuniting with friends. It was great to go back to my ward and meet some new people too. I will also be having a new calling! yay! I get to be the choir director's assistant :). I have high hopes for the new year in our ward.
Monday was the first day of classes and I had new testament second half at 7:40 am and it was so great... after not being in a religion class for a semester I can appreciate it that much more. Tuesday I was supposed to have class again at 7:40 but didn't make it, then today I had religion again and loved it again... the teacher i have really makes me think more than any other teacher Ive had. My next class was at 12:20 and when I got there I found that I was not on the role... what? I had signed up for classes a long time ago, I should be on the role... so i got online to look up my schedule and found that all of my design classes that I had signed up for were dropped. I didn't do that! I then remembered that to be in the 2 year design program you have to keep a 3.0 or more GPA for design classes and I only have a 2.77 because of some projects I missed in a class. So, to my disappointment I will not be in any classes this semester :( I was really looking forward to starting school again too! So, now I will drop my religion class but keep attending for the enlightenment, then re-take that class in the summer since they don't offer it now and that should increase my GPA enough. I'm just so frustrated with myself for not working harder last semester I really wanted to get closer to finishing! On the up side, I can get a job now, don't have to pay tuition, I will be available to visit family, and I can work on some personal improvements... reading my scriptures and such.... If things work out okay I should be able to graduate in a year.

Autumn to Christmas
Once again I have been so good at procrastination and have to catch up. School is over til Jan. 5th and I am loving my break! I finished so many projects it was hard to keep them straight for a while and I spent most of my time at school in the computer lab doing cad work. Thanksgiving was nice, Jessica and I spent the day with Tenna and her family... It was great and I got so stuffed!
I am now in Michigan with my parents... I got here on the 13th of December and will be here til the 1st of January. I was so happy to come home after a year away. A few things changed but all good. Mom painted the office and foyer and changed a few light fixtures... Coming home made me realize how sweet life has been for me in the past. Its so nice to be back in a place where the walls are painted and the artwork matches and furniture too, with a hot tub out back and a big bed to snuggle up in.
I was so happy to come home in time to catch Bryce and Adrienne before they left to move to Las Vegas. I got to meet the newest addition to the family Olivia Vonda Dial! Little Ollie is the cutest baby ever! I cant believe how great she is... she doesn't cry much, almost never spits up, and has the sweetest little grin. I just wanna hold her all the time! Its weird to think of Adrienne as a mom, but she is doing great... as far as i can tell. We hit up the pancake house on the 17th then came home to celebrate Christmas before the dials moved out. It was very nice and simple.
Since then not a whole lot has happened. A huge snow storm came dumping about 2 feet of snow. Mom, Dad and I spent Saturday morning digging through the mountain the plow left at the end of the driveway... now mom's back is sprained :( We have spent our time watching lots of movies (Phantom of the Opera, Get Smart, Elizabeth something, Hell boy and more) and baking cookies etc... This morning we opened our presents from JS etc... and KC etc... I got some really neat ornaments and mom and dad got plates with grand kids hand or foot prints. Since we already had Christmas, today we watched a movie and mom and i went out and sat in the hot tub afterward. We spent this evening over at the Belchers eating leftover ham and various desserts. Yummy! I am really missing all the family though, wishing we could all be together.... which is why I am looking forward to January 12 SO much! Everyone but Bryce :( will be together in California :) There I will get to meet the very newest member of the family- JohnSteven and Rachel's little Jack Everette Asvitt. I'm so excited to play with the girls and boys too! It was so fun to hear John talk to "grandpa" thanking him for his monkey present on the phone. It is so neat to see how much they grow in such a small amount of time.
Oooo, I am also looking forward to February when, hopefully, mom and I will get to go visit Adrienne in Las Vegas and help her fix up the place they just moved into. So fun! And I'll get to see Ollie again! If only I didn't have to take classes, I would just go back and forth between all my nephews and nieces babysitting and playing with them! But alas, I must grow up and learn and earn money :(

Good Weekend!
Ok, this weekend was so fun!
I cant remember what i did Friday night, but Saturday was a hoot! When Kaylie got back from her soccer game Jess and I woke up and we all laid around for a while... After Jess got ready we headed out to breakfast at IHOP for crepe fever :) YES! After that we stopped at Target for some window shopping and then went home. Then we prepared to go to lagoon for Frightmares :) I was so excited... but it wasn't the best weather. When we finally left with Eric Munden and his friend Josh It was raining. I figured we'd be okay, but when we got to the roller coasters it was snowing! Unbelievable! I loved it though... we walked on to all the rides, no wait. I was fine until the cold really set in as the sun went down and my clothes absorbed the melting snow. At this point we decided to head for the haunted houses so we could be inside. I love it! Jess was so scared until she realized how to put it off, turn her fear into funny, finding opportunities to crack jokes at the spooks. We then watched the Hack'n'Slash dance group perform, they are hilarious. After all that fun we headed for the car for the warm refuge. At home we snuggled up and watched a movie and the girls fell asleep. After our little nap we got ready to go over to Leo's (our elders quorum president) to hang out. We ended up playing signs... so fun, as usual. When we were good 'n tired we went home and straight to bed. Sunday was also a great day... We had fast and testimony meeting and I bore my testimony... It was so nice. I keep feeling all warm and fuzzy every Sunday, Like I love everyone and everything! We went home and took short naps then went with kaylie to her grandparents for her grampas birthday. I love their house! It is historically registered and very cool. We had scrumptious dinner and chit-chatted. We then went to Kaylies parents house to make brownies for ward prayer. While they baked we watched a great show, The worlds ugliest animals :) It was fun. We went to ward prayer and then went home. Ah... good weekend!

Taking on School
HOly Cow! today I have come to realize how much stuff I have to do, especially in one class! I have like 4 projects to be working on and a test coming up. I have to make a chair out of cardboard, research a contemporary furniture designer, make a PowerPoint for 20 significant pieces of furniture, and go to an elementary school and teach them about design... I am so stressed! that is just for one class. I also have to keep up in memorizing relevant architects and designers and what they did, as well as historical design techniques and terms. I also have to plan remodel a historically registered house into a commercial venue, drawing all details, lighting plans, furniture plans, materials schedules and everything while still maintaining the historical virtue. I am also learning more complicated details in CAD :P ugh. And Halloween is coming up... and I want to play! Must keep up!
Yesterday was a fun day though, Our FHE was a surprise from the elders quorum where they made dinner for all of us ladies in the ward and served us. We went on "dates" with one of the guys... but because the girls out number the guys, our dates were one guy to three girls... It was pretty funny. My date was Daryl, and he was quite interesting... Sometimes it seemed that he was talking to us so much that we thought we wouldn't get a chance to eat our dinner. Which was: a spring tossed salad with mandarins and poppy seed dressing, rice, and roast pork. It was quite impressive considering there were about 14o people there. For dessert we had french silk pie, during which time we had a group discussion on what we do or don't like about dating or what our date does or doesn't do etc... After that there was a dance... so funny. I had a good time, especially after the "date" part ended. I loved dancing and watching everyone. After the event was done some of us went to Denny's and just socialized. I was in such a silly mood because i hadn't taken my strattera.
Well. I don't want to but need to get to work... you know, all those projects... :( well.
